against State Highway Commis
sioner Merle Chessman, Astoria,
and State Fish Commissioner
Earl H. Hill, Lone county, were
heard today by Circuit Judge
ueorge Duncan.
Sackett seeks to remove the
two men on grounds that they
also are of the legislature. Chess
man Is a senator and Hill a rep
resentative, both being republi
cans. Sackett cited a constitutional
prohibition against any person
serving In more than one branch
of the state government. Chess
man and Hill were represented
by the attorney general's office.
