Arrives In Klamath
The examining board of Great
Northern railroads arrived in
Klamath Falls this morning on
a special car from Seattle. Three
members of the examining
board, P. S. Proulx of St. Paul,
R. N. Whitman of Great Falls,
Mont., and C. J. Evey of Wenat
chec, Wash., will be here two
days In order to examine and in
struct the Great Northern rail
road men. The examining board
usually comes to Klamath Falls
every two years.

To Murder Charge

men indicted on murder charges
in the shooting of Deputy Sheriff
Al Bowe November 15 will go

Reason for abandonment of
the alcohol plants was "purely
dollars and cents," Hadlock
said, explaining that the cost of
alcohol-rubber was 241 cents a
pound compared with 12 or 13
cents for petroleum-rubber. The
plants are located at Institute,
W. Va., Kobuta, Pa., and Louis
ville, Ky.
