out, Lamm reminded, without
the cooperation of the people in
contributing to this cause.
Contributions may be mailed
direct to the Klamath chamber
of commerce, S23 Main, Lamm
said, urging those who have not
already contributed to do so as
quickly as possible.

city police yesterday for an ap
pearance in court for running a

police court this morning, along
with two persons held for disor
derly conduct. Twelve drunks

just returned from vacation.
The Soviet monitor's version
of Molotov's remarks concerning
Japan was that the liberation of
China was of the greatest im
portance to the world.
"It is thus clear that the
Soviet Union considers most im
portant the negotiation of con
trol of all the allies over Japan,"
he said. "In this Question no sat
isfactory results have yet
emerged, but the importance of
satisfactory results is clear to
all."
Molotov told a cheering crowd
that, with victory in war, "now
we can return to peacetime
labor."
