There is a present demand for
truined stenographers In local
businesses, Alrneter said, and an
unusual dcrth of those trained
In shorthand and speed-writing.
This Is probably due, he said, to
the fact that those who would
ordinarily have taken business
training, have been engaged in
war production for the last few
years,
Alrneter advises young people
just graduating from schools
and colleges to take up business
training, and become efficient In
taking shorthand or speed-writing
dictation. Good men stenog
raphers, typists and bookkeepers
are especially In demand, he
said, and those with shorthand
training can be placed without
delay.
Persons with training or ex
perience in any business who are
not now employed, are urged to
register with the employment of
