seven Oregon supreme court
Justices will go bacK to worn
next Tuesday after their summer
vacation.
One of the court's first pieces
of business will be to act on the
petition for rehearing of Andrew
W. Dennis, Portland, sentenced
to die for slaying his mother-in-law.
The court upheld his convic
tion last spring, but the petition
for rehearing was filed while
