A Klamath Heatina company truck driven by Oliver Lesh dug foxhole all its own vaster
day morning whon it slippod out of gear and ran wild. Tha wildly careening automobile mowed
down three trees, brought down some power Unas, and severely damaged the lawn of Mrs. P. G.
Smith, 60 Conger, whoro it finally stopped. Tha truck is shown above before being taken from

Runaway Girls
Two runaway, girls, one 17
years old from Medford, and the
other 15 from Horse Shoe Bend,

venile officers and admitted that
they had run away from home.

today to return them to their
homes. In the meantime, they
are held In Juvenile custody.

Mrs. Jack Meredith, 64, 536
Pine, was taken to the Klamath
Valley hospital yesterday after
noon by the Klamath merchants
police ambulance suffering from
a broken right hip.
The injury was incurred when
she tripped over a small stool
in her home and fell.

call a national assembly on No

mended a settlement with the
