23 Lightning Fires
In Fremont Forest
LAKEVIEW Lightning
caused a total of 23 fires in the
Fremont National forest since
the storm Sunday evening with
a few of the fires still burning,
according to local forest officials.
At tho present time, two fires
are burning in the Warner
ranger district, one in Paisley
district, and eight in the Bly dis
trict. Five fires have been extin
guished in the Bly district which
gives that district a total of 13
lightning fires since Sunday eve
ning, another in the Warner dis
trict and five suppressed in Pais
ley district.
