cattle, calves and sheep during
July promises to put 10 per
cent more meat on Oregon and
some Washington tables, the
OPA said today.
OPA Meat Representative
John O. Ferris said the order,
affecting class . 2 slaughterers
only, allows slaughter for beef
and veal to rise from 75 to 85
per cent of base quota, and
sheep, from 100 to 110 per cent.
Pork is not affected.
