A Jury found In favor of the
defendant yesterday in circuit
court in the damage suit filed
by Bessie Greenmeyer against
Lee Samuel Palmer and John
Bonham. The plaintiff had asked
$10,116 for hospital bills, doe
tor bills, and injuries to person
and an additional $600 for de
struction of her automobile. J.
C. O'Neill was attorney for the
plaintiff and R. B. Maxwell rep
resented the defendants.
The plaintiff and defendants
were assertedly involved In
head-on automobile collision in
frorjt of the Roosevelt tavern
Nov. 2. 1944. Mrs. Greenmeyer
claimed she received four brok
en ribs, leg, chest and head ln
Juries, and that her car was com
pletely destroyed. She also
claimed that the leg and chest
injuries permanently disabled
her.
The case against Bonham was
dismissed upon a motion by
Maxwell on the grounds that
Bonham was not operating the
automobile Involved in the ac
cident. The jury later returned
a verdict in favor of Palmer, the
other defendant. Circuit Court
Judge David R, Vandenberg
heard tha case.

TULELAKE Weed conditions
are serious In onion fields in
the south end of the Klamath
basin, It was reported today af
ter a check by Chet Main, presi
dent of the Tulelake Growers.
He said one six-acre field was
taken entirely by weeds.
Weeding operations are being
pushed, however, and are now,
