CONROY RETURNS

United Stales navy, son of Mr.
and Mrs. R. J. Conroy of 2237
wantlnnd in Klamath Falls, re
cently returned to this country
after serving several months in
the South Pacific. He has been
recommended for officer's train
ing school, and expects to enter
on the first of July. At present
he Is enroute to Princeton, N. J.,
for further orders.
While in tho Pacific theater
of war, Conroy was at Guam,
the Philippines, the Carolines
and Marianas islands. He was
graduated from Klamath Union
high school with the class of
1943, and was a star on the foot
ball and basketball teams. He
enlisted in the navy immediate
ly after graduation.
FULLER GRADUATES
2nd Lt. Raymond E. Fuller,
2252 Vino, is among the grad
uates of the 3rd transport serv
ice course at tho school for per
sonnel services, Lexington, Va.
Students of this course are se
lected officers and enlisted men
who aro stationed at various
staging areas and ports of em
barkation. Fuller is a veteran
of the African campaign where
ho was seriously wounded. He
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wal
ter Fuller of this city.
