PORTLAND, Ore., March 29
(P) Four Fred Meyer stores
have drawn 30-day suspensions
as penalties for violating the
OPA's Christmas day food ra
tion order, Robert L. Sabln, at
torney lor the large grocery con
cern, said today,
The ruling, - which will pre
vent some of Portland's largest
groceries from selling rationed
processed foods and sugar from
April 15-May 15, was issued by
Robert M, Dulin, San Francisco,
OPA hearing commissioner.
Another Portland store, also
charged with accepting invalid
DOints on the day after Christ
mas, received only a warning
after Its hearing before another
commissioner.
The stores contended they
were not officially .notified of
the order. Dulin ruled they
should have attempted to com

Attorney Sabin said the groc

Sac LeRoy Junior Millikcn,
native of Nebraska, and S2c
Richard Burdette Graham, Chi
cago, were arraigned in justice
court this morning, both men
facing charges of statutory rape.
In both cases, girls involved are
15-year-olds.
Milliken and Graham were
granted time to enter their pleas
by Justice of the Peace J. A.
Mahoncy, and committed to the
Klamath county jail in lieu of
$2500 cash bond set by the
court. The girls are in custody
of juvenile authorities.
