opinion of Red Cross service.
"Don't let anyone tell you
(writes Anderson the Red Cross
Isn't any good. While we lay in
bed they come around once a
day and see if there is any
thing we want. If there is, they
give it to us, and if they don't
have it with them they go out
and buy it for us."
Among things servicemen in
hospitals ask for are writing
materials, soap, shaving mate
rials, tobacco, books and play
ing cards.
The Red Cross is able to sup
ply these things through dona
tions of the American people
for the war fund.
