Two traffic accidents were re
ported to city ponce rrictay.
H. E. Hauger, 1540 Pacific Ter
race, reported that his car was
struck bv a truck belonging to
the Klamath Packing company
-while he was parked on am ai
Main. It was reported that the
truck, the driver of which was
not known, cut the corner ana
hit Hauger'a car, bending the
front fender and tearing off the
bumper.
F. W. Dingier, 5131 Miller,
was Involved in a minor collision
with'R. England. 919 E. Main,
when England backed out of an
alley on to S. 8th. No arrests
were made by city police.

auto camp, posted $2 bail for
making an illegal ictt mm ai.un
and Main.
Wilbur W. Martin, 1842 Lex
ington, was arrested by police
for violation of the basic rule.
He was due to appear in police
court this morning. Joseph W.
Johnson, Anchor hotel, was ap
prehended for running a red
light and was cited to appear in
police court today.
Three drunks appeared in po
lice court this morning.

Five Men to Report
From Klamath County
The names of five men were
announced by Klamath county
board, No. 1, Thursday as those
who will report for induction
at Fort Lewis, Wash., from
Klamath county. The men will
report to the Southern Pacific
depot at 1U p. m. March zo.

REPORTED STOLEN
R. L. Wise, proprietor of the
Lakeway Service station at Ore
gon and Biehn, reported to city
police Friday that illegal entry
was made into the station some
time between 6:S0 a. m., and
7:20 a. m. Friday morning and
that the cash register was stolen.
According to police reports,
the padlock was pried off the
front door to gain entry.
The cash register was valued
by Wise at $50 and Its contents
included $50 in change, one $3
check made out to Wise, an OPA
car form, a' car title to a 1934
Chevrolet, a gas ration book
and gas coupons.
Police are investigating the
case.
Aid Firemen The Oregon
Women's Ambulance corps is
taking over the concessions at
the firemen's ball St. Patrick's
Day. March 17, at the armory.
Members will take charge of
the checking department and
the soft drink stand.
NEW BUILDINGS FOR

Tom Neeley. manager and co-
owner of the Lake o' the Woods
resort, has been in town two
davs In the interest of plan
ning with the forest service for
two new buildings lor me com
ing season at the resort.
A new recreation building
and a boat storage building are
under consideration.
Neeley also contacted military
personnel during his visit to
make arrangements for use of
the resort by navy and marine
personnel.
Child Recovering
From Severe Burns
Five-year-old Vernon Fraley,
who was severely burned when
his clothes caught on fire two
weeks ago while playing with
gasoline, is improving, according
to Dr. Peter Rozendal.
The child was removed from
Klamath Valley hospital to Iso
lation at tho county Infirmary
