This announcement was made Tuesday by the state salvage committee which disclosed that November' total included single carload shipments from Lane, Coos nnd Wasco counticr, plus two cnrloads from Multnomah county. On a basis of pound collected per capita, Wasco county cur rently leads all counties in the state In 1044 shipments to the San Francisco detinnlng plant. Wasco has shipped 37,250 pounds of cans for an average of 3.51 pounds per person. Over-all state shipments from January 1 to November 30, 1044, amount to an average of 1.01 pounds per capita. Klamath county's per capita shipment avcrago is .77 pounds.
