BURNED OUT
NORTH PRAIRIE, Wis,, Nov.

pasteurizing plant has temporar
ily ended an 18 months old
wage dispute between the com
pany and the Chicago milk wag
on drivers' union.
The drivers struck six weeks
ago and the plant shut down.
When b tire destroyed 19 trucks,
John Randlng, plant manager
said: "The tire ends the argu
ment, The trucks cannot be re
placed now."

ways to use them so that they will

Cronbrry-Ornfl Relliht Ever
popular to serve with chicken, turkey
or meat. Mane pienty
frigerator. Coarsely grind 4 cups (1 lb.)
cranberries and 2 large oranges. Add 2
cups sugar and let stand 3 to 4 hours.
Makes about one quart.
Tin-mlnutt, Cranberry Souet: A fall
and holiday must-luscious whole
cranberries in their own rosy juice. Botf
2 cups water and 2 cups sugar together
5 minutes and add 4 cups (1 lb.) cran
berries, cook slowly, without stirring,
until skins pop (about o minutes;, oiun
and pour immediately ' into serving
dish. Let stand undisturbed until cool.
Makes 1 quart.
Lamb Chops with Cranborrtett Just
before serving broiled or panfried lamb
chops, top with Cranberry-Orange
Relish or Cranberry Jelly.
