Young Garrett, serving nith the U. S. navy, lost his life in the Port Chicago disas- r of last July. First reports were that his body had been found and ar rangements for his funeral were made here. Later the report was reversed and a memorial serv ice was he'd. Recently Mr. and Mrs. Gar rett made a trip south to naval hMri.-i!.rtrs at Valleio and up on investigation found and in England. The dispatch was identified the body of their official, but no particulars were youngest son, which had lain i included.
