pleted 50 missions with the army
air corps in Italy and the South
Pacific. Young Richey has the
Air Medal and several Oak Leaf
clusters. He wus a top turret
gunner on a B-24. He has left
for his new base in California.
Jimmy is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
J. L. Bichoy of Bourdman ave

ey, has been a prisoner of war
o( the Germans (or the past eight
months. Word was reached (rom
him last week notifying his fam
ily that he has been transferred
from a prison camp in East Prus
sia to a camp in Germany. The
communication, which had been
written July 4, stated that there
arc two boys besides Richey from

he was receiving good treatment.
