This is a great deer hunting country,-- and it Is a great
forest country. Every sportsman knows thatfireisthe
arch enemy of our game and wild life. And every true
sportsman is careful to see that he doesn't set a fire. He
knows the rules of the game, and follows them.
But some hunters are not sportsmen. They are careless
with campfire and smoking materials. Such people must
be educated, or kept out of the woods. REMEMBER
Smoke only while stopping in a safe place. Put every
match and cigarette stub dead out. Never leave a burn
ing or smouldering campfire unattended. Build it in a safe
place, and put it dead out with water,--lots of water.
