factory progress toward the rais
ing of a $1,600,000 Pacific north-
west tourist advertising fund in
Oregon, Washington and British
Columbia was reported yester
day by William Edris, Seattle, a
leading sponsor -of the, project,
after a conference with Stanley
S. McKeen of Vancouver, B. C,
Pacific Northwest Trade associa
tion president, ,
Edris said a permanent com
mittee for the fund will be creat
ed at a meeting of the trade as
sociation at Belltngham, Septem
ber 11-12.
