Valley Women's club at the pnrlah hall on July 27. Tho meeting
waa In charge of the new president, Mra. Eva Roberts.
Club members voted to have a donco every two weeks to
ralso money to paint and repair the community hall. The club
also decided to have a quilting and a shower on August A for
tho Lou Carter family who recently lost tholr belongings In a
flra. The club donated money
for material for aix quills to be
tied at tho shower.

Susan Vilas of Medford has
been visiting here for the past
week at the E. A. Geary ranch
and at the V. E. O'Neill home
on Portland street with Virginia
Turnbow, a former resident of
Medford. Susan is a student at
the University of Oregon and
returned to her home on Friday.

who is leaving soon to Join her

Mrs. Maude Maddox, who for
merly made her home in Klam
ath Falls, is spending a short
time here from her home in Port
land, visiting with numerous
friends. Mrs. Maddox is a sister
of W. A. Delzell, also a former
Klamath resident, who now
makes his home in the northern
city. During her stay, Mrs. Mad
dox is being entertained at a
number of informal affairs.
