The recreation office has ar
ranged outings and fishing trips
for a number of men this week
end, with another party of 12
going to Lake o' the Woods and
10 men going to Diamond lake
for a three-day trip. Nine
marines will go to Sand creek
for a one-day fishing trip Sun
day, and 27 men arc to be en
tertained by the Helping Hand
society in Malin.
The American Legion has In
vited 30 to a dance next Thurs
day night, and approximately
40 more men have been Invited
by different Klamath Falls fam
ilies for outings this weekend.

chosen president of the down
town enlisted men's club at a
recent meeting of the club's
board of directors. Other newly
elected officers are Sgt. MaJ. D.

Feature Second
Anniversary
A broadcast featuring the sec
ond anniversary of the WAVES
will be heard over all Mutual
networks Sunday night between
6:30 and 7 p. m according to
Dan Schrciber, recruiting officer

The program will originate
from Astoria, Ore., and can be
heard over the local radio station.

allowed in July, the office of
price administration announced
today.
The August quota is 18,500
but regional reserves of 4875

body of an elderly woman found
on the Willamette river bank in
downtown Portland last Monday
was identified by County Coron
er Koy Li. uraotree today as that
of Mrs. Henry C. Randle, 66, a
former Nehaiem nigh school
teacher. A daughter said she
had been HI and despondent.
