benefit silver tea to be sponsored by the Altar society of St.
Augustine's church in Merrill on Thursday afternoon, June 29.

Busy This Week
The rain poured down Wednesday, but the old adage. "If
an ill wind, etc.," worked for the

turned out a total of ZZ29 dressings during the day. As one farm
woman said, "It was too wet to work In the garden, anywayl"
Ten of the women came In from Henley, two from the Shasta
district. Some brought naoer sack lunches and stayed the dav.
