June with a record number of ceremonies. Many of them
have been of a military nature with the grooms in uniforms
of the United States armed forces.

leaf green two-piece suit of gab
ardine with a jabot of lace and

halo of white carnations - and
she carried a white prayer book
from which showered white car
nations and white ribbons.'
The groom formerly lived in
Klamath Falls and was manager
of the hardware department of
Sears ' and Roebuck. He is a
nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Franey of this city and was
sponsored in the air corps by

Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jewell Kellog-Smith of Chester
town, Maryland, to Aviation Cadet Richard Blohm, son of Mr. -and
Mrs. G. C. Blohm of this city. The ceremony was read ttt,
mid-day in the cadet chapel at the San Antonio Air Cadet Center t
where Cadet Blohm is stationed.
The bride was attended by Mrs. Leon Howell of Washington, :n
D. C. and was given in marriage by Aviation Cadet Edmund S.i
Walker, son of Brig. General Walker of Santa Ana. Best man

Hathaway returned to her
home to await Richard's transfer
to New Haven in early July
when she will join him while
he continues his training in the
Technical Officer's school at Yale
university.
. Both young people were stu
dents at Reed college in Port
land and Hathaway has-visited
here often.
Mrs. Ludwig Peterson of
Pnneville, former Klamath
Falls resident, is visiting her
son-in-law and daughter, Mr.

nesday and will leave the mid
