SOVIET RELEASES
F
MOSCOW. June 22 tP) Tak
ing nolo of tho third anniver
sary of the German attack on
Russia, the soviet Information
bureau said today In a review
of the war on the eastern front
that more than 7,600,000 Ger
mans have been killed or cap
tured, compared with 5,300,000
Russians killed, missing or captured.
The review declared that "a
considerable contribution to the
success of the red army was
mado by our allies, the United
States of America and Great
Britain, who supplied us with
very valuable strategic raw ma
terials and subjected Germany's
military objectives to systematic
bombing, and thereby ' under
mined Germany's military might.
The bureau asserted the Ger
mans had lost 70,000 tanks, 60,
000 airplanes and more than
00,000 pieces of artillery, as
against Russian losses of 40,000
tanks, 30,128 airplanes and 48,
000 guns.
