Another Father's Day has rolled around, but this
year it's just a little different. Some fathers that have
been at home in the years past are now in service, and
the ones at home have less time to spend with their
families because they are working harder than ever.
On this page are three Klamath Falls fathers. Wilbur
Arnold, however, has left for Medford, and his wife and
son, Dickie, are joining him to make their home there
this next week. They will be missed by all who know
them. '. :.' . - -
Robert Elliott and son, Robert Lee, live with Mrs.
Elliott on Uerling street. Robert Lee is the grandson of
Mrs. Clara B. Elliott of this city and of Lee Corner of
Yakima.

Barbecue Dinner
Mrs. Paul Dalton entertained
with a barbecue dinner for her
daughter, Shirley's, houseguest,
Mary Desmond of Sacramento,
on Sunday afternoon at the
Dalton home on the Merrill
road. The afternoon was spent
playing games.

the Marine Barracks day rooms.
This will be an all day work ses
sion with the business meeting

forced to postpone their play
for the Lamm Trophy because
of rainy weather Friday.

Both girls are graduates of
North Montana college and are
members of the Order of tne
Eastern Star. .
Mr. Culver is with the coast
guard at Seaside, and is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. George
Culver of Forest Grove, . Ore

of H. Wallinder of Havre, Mon
tana, and is employed by uren

Marine Barracks.

After July 1, Mr. and Mrs.
Culver will be at home at 1015

Mr. and Mrs. Wallinder will
make their home in the Alpha
apartments in Klamath Falls.
Fifth Birthday
Nancy Drew celebrated her
fifth birthday this past Tuesday
afternoon when fourteen - little
friends came over for an after
noon of games and to wish her
a happy birthday.
She is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Greer Drew of Lowell
street.
Since it was a nice summer
day, it was an out-of-doors party
and was celebrated with a big
birthday cake and all the fixings.
