About 85 per cent of the ath

men which explains why the
fields look something like they
used to in peace time . . . Texas
Charley Parker, the meet's No.
1 newcomer, claims running the
100-yard dash is a waste of time
because he's a "slow starter" and
is only hitting full speed when
he hits the tape. (His best 100
yard time is 9.5 seconds) . . .

The body-beautiful boy won

The Weed Assassin then knock

Wagner returned fighting mad
at the decision. He grabbed a

started chusing both Belcastro
and Referee Wally Moss around
the ring. After giving up the idea
of smashing their skulls Wagner
felled Pete with a scries of body

that time the police came down
and broke up the boy's fun.
In the first match of the eve
ning Herb Parks put a swinging
full Nelson on Silent Rattan to
win the only fall of the three
'round go.
The second match was a witd
and wooly affair between the
Chinaman Walter "Sneeze"
Achiu and the Canadian mcanlc,
Buck Davidson. Davidson took
the first fall with several body
butts. Then Achiu tried a pres
sure hold on the neck. Immedi
ately Buck claimed it was an Il
legal chokchold.
"Sneeze" applied the same
hold again to win his first fall.
Davidson protested loudly again
but this time he took his wrath
out on Wally Moss. Wally threw
him flat on his buck. Achiu
promptly Jumped on Buck nud
