Mrs. George Houck, who has
been confined to the hospital
and her home for several weeks
with a compound leg fracture,
will be in bed for some time yet -due
to complications. Mrs.
Houck fell at the family home,
breaking her leg near the knee
and the ankle.
Corporal Lawson Kandra,
serving with the army field ar
tillery, is now located at Fort
Sill, Okla., while his brother
Ivan, is at the army post at
Camp Roberts, Calif., in the in
fantry. Both are sons of Mr.
