Ir LAMATH FALLS turned out full force Wednesday night for the pre
V mloro of "This Is the Army," the Irving Berlin stoge show which has
been made into a movio.
The crowds came oway feeling os If they had gotten their money's
worth because they witnessed not only the motion picture but a full hour
of entertainment by on army band and entertainers from Camp White.
Everyone came out In their best bib and tucker for the occasion and
The Herald and News photographer was on hand to snap some of them
for the benefit of this pago.
Since it wos a soldier show, the soldiers from Comp White came In for
their share of the picture-taking when they posed with Vivian Gillette,
protty usherette on duty in the lobby.
To the committee In charge of the show, should go a large share of
tho credit for making the premiere the success it was. Members of the
committee were Morshall Cornett, chairmon, Mayor John Houston, Mrs.
Franklin Weover, Malcolm Eplcy and Clen Hout. Working with them wero
