slumped more than a cent at
times In a murket which dis
played a substantial drylng-up of
buying power. Profit-taking ap
peared in outs and rye, while
wheat ran into hedging pressure.

Klamath county. Ore., passed
away In this city on Sunday,
Juno 13, 1043 at 8:43 a. m., fol
lowing an Illness of three weeks.
He was a native of Greenwood,
Ind., and at the time of his death
was aged 73 years 8 months and
4 days. Surviving are his wife,
Mrs. Nell IlcCollum of Odcll
Lake, Ore., five sons, Everett of
Merrill, Ore., Edgar of Portland,
Ore., Ernest of Burncy, Calif.,
Russell and Harold McCollum of
this city, one dnughter, Mrs.
Gladys Perkins of Walla Walln,
Wash., three sisters, Mrs. Lilly
White and Mrs. Minnie Cline of
West Union. 111., ond Mrs. Ella
Benoit of Los Angeles, Calif.;
