Drastic Penalties Prouidcd!
The new Oregon Safety Responsibility Law which
goes into effect next Wednesday, June 9th affects
every motorist, Whether owner or driver. Failure to
comply involves the risk of drastic penalties, includ
ing the suspension of both operator's license and car
registration plates.
On and after next Wednesday, if you or your car is
involved in an accident, no matter how slight, and
regardless of who is to blame, you must promptly filo
with the Secretary of State proof of financial respons
