The "Jerry Jinx" has been missing since a
bombing raid on January 23, with all of its
crew . . including the pilot, Capt. Ehle Reber,
son of County Commissioner and Mrs. John
Reber of Malin.
With all our hearts we hope news will
come soon that these fine young men are safe
as prisoners of war ... or, better still, that
the long silence concerning them means they
are making their way, secretly and slowly,
out of enemy territory.
4
But (he Fortress "Jerry Jinx"
will never fly again. And we Amer
icons at home must provide more
and more bombers until victory is
ours.
A Flying Fortress Costs $350,000 in War Bonds . .
Let's Buy One . . . Replace the "Jerry Jinx"
With the "Klamath Pelican"
COME ON, KLAMATH! BUY MORE WAR BONDS!
