"Mis WIBC, last Sunday, March ;
28th at 2:30 p. m. at the Muni
cipal airport In Kansas City,
Mo., and turned over to the
government. Not only will thtl
bomber of our hava the nam
of "Miss WIBC" but it will
have a 23-word Inscription en
the nose of the ship and a .
plaque for the cockpit, with
our slogan "Our Answer to
Bomb Thl Bomber," TmV
wa ilgned by the WIBC.

money waa contributed and how
many cities participated In this
'Buy a Bomber campaign.
There were 338 cities and 8100,-
244.89 contributed.
