Crash Injures 17

CHICAGO, March 29 VP) An
Illinois Central railroad official
said yesterday that its 11-car Sua
Chaser limited from Florid
passed a yellow and a red signal
before plowing into the rear of
the road's Creole Limited last
night, injuring 70 passengers.
The crash occurred at a south
side station as the Creole, 19 car
passenger train from New Or
leans, was discharging passen
gers. Both trains were north
bound to Chicago.
