officials sold today their reports
point, on tho whole, to "general
compliance" with tho 48-hour
week to be put Into effect April
1 in 32 designated areas of la

Rolben, Sun Francisco, youngest
son of Mr. and Mrs. George
Rclben, has been passed by the
California stato board of dontal
examiners and Is now full
fledged dentist. Dr. Relbcn, a
graduate of the Tulelake high
school In 1038 completed his
training at the University of Cal
ifornia. Ho Is awaiting his call
soon to service with the U. S.
army dontal corps.
Mrs. Rolben, the former Mary
Frances Johnson, will return to
Tulelnko with her mother, Mrs.
French Johnson, now In Los An

signed by Charles H. Thome, one

famous mail-order house.
W. L. Bruce, manager of the
Klamath Falls retail store said
ho would gladly pay more than
double tho face value of the
check, but Mrs. McDonald pre
ferred to keep the well preserved
draft as a keepsake.

concluded Its investigation of a
chest wound suffered by Earl
Wlnfleld Spencer, first husband
of Wallla Warfield, now the
Duchess of Windsor.
Spencer's present wife said he

slipped, slashing him over the
