Victor A. Schulze, formerly of
Sumiysldo, Wash., who has taken
over the pustorute of Zlon Luth
eran church on High street, will

was Installed lost Sunday as pus

prodeccssor, the Rov. C. F. Nltz,
who hus recently accepted the
position us acting dean of the
Luthorun Preparatory school in
Portland. The theme for Pastor
Schultze's inaugural sermon will
be, "What a Christian Congrega
tion and Pustor May Expect of
F.uch Other." Tho new pastor of
6lon is a graduate of Concordia
seminary, St. Louis, Mo., the
home of the Lutheran hour,
where he was granted a bachelor
of divinity degree.
Prior to his acceptance of Zlon
Lutheran's coll, Pustor Schulze
hud six years of experience in
ministerial work. He has served
the Lutheran churcli one year as
a vicar at Lodl, Calif., two years
us pastor at Orovlllc, Wash., and
three years as pastor at Sunny'
sldo, Wash. He is also at present
serving as assistant ecretary of
tho Oregon-Washington district
of tho Evangelical Lutheran
church.
