Two-Bits" Frolicksome
Fox Terrier, Falls Again
MEDFORD, March 10 (P)
"Two-Bits," the frolicksome fox
terrier that fell off an 800-foot
cliff six weeks ago has done It
again.
The first time he was chasing
an imaginary squirrel when ho
slipped in the snow and went
over the cliff with a surprised
yelp. His owner, William Zicg
ler, Rogue River national forest
lookout observer, gave him up
for dead. But ten days later hi
found the dog climbing up a
trail. His fall had been cush
ioned In soft snow.
Ziegler reported that "Two
Bits" did the same thing yester
day. But this time Zicglor
doesn't expect the dog to return.
Only a few patches of snow
are on the ground below the
cliff.
