strong buying move swept Into
the grain markets today on the
prospect of early upward revi
sion of corn ceilings and wheat,
oats and rye scored gains rang
ing to more than a cent in most
instances. Corn was bid at ceil
ings. Oats paced the advance on
commission house buying, estab
lishing new highs for the past
14 years.
Wheat lagged somewhat dur
ing most of the session, but came
up with the other grains near the
close.
Wheat finished l-Ic higher,
May $1.48i-i, July $1,451-1,
corn was unchanged at ceilings,
May $1.00, oats advanced ll-21c
and rye gained 11-21 cents.
