Noelcy pleaded guilty of the charge, based on testimony he gave when called into court for neglect of children. On that oc casion, ho falsely swore that he was married to a certain woman. Tho district attorney's office filed the information that led to his sentencing. OBITUARY VERLE DALE HASKINS Verle Dale Haskins, son of Mr. and Mrs, Velton Merlo Haskins of Merrill, Ore., passed away in this city on Thursday, March 4, 1943 at 8:30 p. m following an illness of five weeks. He was a native of Merrill, and at the time of his death was aged 8 years 2 months and four days.
