three years' voyaging on mer

The 25-year-old steward has
been in three of them, the last

that the first return broadcast
will be this coming Wednesday

Friday afternoon was the
time of a pep assembly to raise
a little spirit before the game.
Letty Lynman, yell queen, and
her able assistants led the stu
dents in a number of yells.
The band played several peppy
numbers led by Andrew Loney.
Several announcements were
made by Dorothy Davis, who
was mistress of ceremonies.
The Boys' Alliance sponsored
a dance Immediately after the
assembly, which had a pretty
good turnout. The high school
dance band furnished the music.

Wood from Canada, engines from the U. S. and a design originated in England go into this all
wooden British mosquito bomber. It maneuvers like a fighter plane and builds in half the time
required for all-metal craft. Said to be the world's fastest bomber, the wooden plane relies on
speed for protection.
