months. They plan to keep

"Scotty" Lawer, a former em
ploye of the Ivory Pine mill, has
been home visiting his parents
and friends In Idaho. He. re
ceived an 18-dny leave and spent
it with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Lawer. Young Lawer
has been in the navy for almost
a year and a half now, and has
seen action many times,
Among the many friends visit
ing him while in Idaho were Mr.
and Mrs. Ross McMillan, Mr. and
Mrs. Jimmy McMillan and their
daughters, Hollls and Frances of
Bly and Miss Janet Protsmun,
also of Bly.
. The new community hall at
Ivory Pine mill was the scene of
a large dance, sponsored by the
employes of the mill, to pay for
their piano and loud speaker.
The music was furnished by Mrs.
Ernie Sandberb at the piano and
Paul Corry and his guitar.
