to shake off profit taking, as it
did in the previous session, and
recently strong leaders slipped
fraction to a point or more.
Transfers were around 600,-
000 shares.
Stocks in difficulties most of

Santa Fe, Chrysler, Western
Union, U. S. Rubber, Anaconda,
American Can, Douglas Aircraft,
