Appeal Made for Men to
Join Police Reserve Ranks
Due to tho number of men
leaving Klamath Falls, tho ranks
of tho police reserves are being
dcplotcd to the oxtont that It has
become necessary to appeal to
able-bodied men 21 years and
older to Join tho reserve and
serve tho city, It was announced
Tuesday.
The reserve Is composed of a
selected body of men who re
ceive oxtensivo training In pollco
work, civilian defense, traffic
and first aid.
"It Is the duty of all able
bodied men at a tlmo like this,
who are not in tho service of
their country, to Join a branch
of civilian defense and serve
here at homo," said Captain
