disclosed yesterday if you
didn't already know it that
long-awaited summer tempera
tures arrived Monday. The max
imum was 01 degrees in Port
land. Production at the Oregon
Shipbuilding corporation slowed
temporarily at mid-afternoon as
steel plates became too hot to
handle. There was no estimate
of the temperaturo in the yards.
