CHICAGO, June 2 (ff) After
gaining as much as a cent a bu
shel in early trading, wheat fu
tures again turned reactionary
and prices slumped more than a
cent a bushel today.
Just before the final gong,
July wheat sold at $1,151, estab
lishing another new seasonal
low. All deliveries of rye also
broke sharply' into new low
ground for tho season.
The weakness of grains and
soybeans was attributed to a
downturn of around $2 a bale in
cotton. Prices for wheat and rye
touched off stop loss selling.
During the final few minutes
of trading prices continued to
uncover successive new seasonal
lows. The close was minor frac
tions above the day's lowest lev
ell. Wheat finished I to 1 cent un
der Monday's final prices, July

BOSTON, June 2 (AP-USDA)
Demand for wools, domestic and
foreign, was slow today with
prices about steady for the finer
descriptions. Tho last sales of
fine territory wools to the mills
approximated In the range of
$1.15-1.18, clean basis, for good
average fine French comoing,
and a fraction higher for long
staple of the fine side. Bright
fleece wools of quarter blood
grade were quoted at about 80
cents, grease basis, graded and
delivered from the country.
