March 18 () An outbreak of stop loss selling in rye futures during the final hour unsettled the wheat market to day and prices of the bread cer eals declined. Feeding grains, however, held fairly steady, with a car of top grade white corn selling at $1 a bushel in the spot market, high est since 1937. Selling of May rye contracts touched off the downturn in that pit. Prices broke more than 3 cents before liquidating orders could be satisfied and sufficient support appeared to check the decline and rally the market slightly. Relaxing of government regu lations to permit harvest of much of the volunteer wheat in the southwest was a factor in the wheat pit. Wheat closed -3 cent lower than yesterday.
