The present policy of the na
tlonal park service Is to keep
the parka open during the war
for the pleasure and enjoyment
of the public, realizing that the
parks offer much In spiritual,

needed by hard working citizens

Drivers Called
A meeting of all Klamath
Falls laundry and dry clennlng
truck drivers hu been called by
Earl Edsall, Tean.sters' union
business agent, for Thursday
night at 8 p. m., he announced
l"ndoy.
Tdsoll said the meeting Is for
organizational purposes. He re
vealed that all Inside workers In
city laundries have been work
ing under union agreements for
some time but that drivers are
-not organized.

Nursing Classes
A concentrated effort to
"cover" the entire county where
homo nursing classes are being
' conducted by the American Red
Cross has been made by Dr
Peter H. Rozendal, Klamath
county health officer. Dr. Ro
zendal visited his twelfth class
on Thursday at Bonanza, and
Monday night was to pay visit
to the Merrill home nursing
class.

ATTEND AFL MEET
Four representatives of tho
Lumber and Sawmill Workers
union (AFL) In the Klamath
area will attend a meeting next
weekend In Bnker, Ore., of dele
gate from AFL district councils
In all western pine producing
areas In the west, M. T. Pavolka
announced Monday.
Pavolka, chief representative
of the LSW In the Klamath Ba
sin District council, said thnt
Hugh Haddock, president of the
council, Dee Nelson, Russell
Downs, and himself would at
tend tho meeting.
He said that the assembly,
specially called, was for the pur
pose of working out a uniform
proposed wage scheduled for
the entire pine industry. Ap
proximately 50 unionists are ex
pected to attend.
