game ot destroying their crop
are nothing new to state and
federal game authorities, but
the 250 Idaho seed grower who
raise a half-million dollar, seed
crop on tho shores of,. Lake
Lowell, a reclamation, -reservoir
and bird refuge,- believe
this time they have the. best ot
the argument., ..
It's not just a few corn fields
that are being robbed, said Rex
Jensen, president of. tho newly

Fifteen per cent of the crop

population is acknowledged by
federal game officials.

nized fact that each duck will
eat a half pound of corn per
day, making 500,000 ' pounds
loss for each 24 hours. .M other
