Carroll for the rest of his natural life. Convicted at South Paris, Me., for the murder of Dr. James G. Littlefield, he is shown entering jail after receiving a life sentence. Carroll will be in the same cell block with Paul Dwyer, his chief accuser, who had previously confessed to the crime.
