School Plant Expansion Inaugurated Improvement of physical fa cilities has been a major feature of Klamath's school program in tbe past year. Financed by a $205,000 bond issue, a substantial plant expan sion has been under way at Klamath Union high school. A new 12-room addition to the main building is now nenring completion, and work Is start ing on a new shop building and gymnnsium. Tho county school district passed a $75,000 bond Issue for construction purposes. Various projects have been executed. Tbe county district has completed a new building In Altamont to serve as a junior high school and to help meet the housing problem there resulting from a heavy attendance Increase. There have been no major ad ministrative or personnel changea in any of the three school sys tems. The schools have been "sawing wood" effectively, ac cording to most observers.
