1937, and pursuant to the Con
stitution and Laws of the State of
Oregon, Including Chapter 5, Title
48 of the Oregon Code of 1930 as
amended and supplemented.
Each bid, except when made by
the state of Oregon or the United
States of America, or agenciea or

Cooperation of business men in

bining potato promotion with ad
vertising the recreational facili
ties of central Oregon.
Small potato recipe books are
to be printed and placed In every
sack of U. S. No. 1 potatoes, the
booklets to be arranged to leave
a place for the local dealer to
add his name. Feature exhibits
ot Deschutes and Crook county
potatoes at the Pacific Interna
tional are to be continued, it is
decided.
The potato caravan to Port
land used In the past two yeara
will be continued, with a return
Invitation for Portlandera to visit
the potato growing districts.
Market investigations are to be
made throughout Oregon and
possibly In Seattle. The cam

firm despite slow trade. While
difficult to aecure more than

months Texas wools some holders
were refusing to sell further
quantities at prices within this
range. Eight-months Texas wools
were being Quoted at 67c to 70c
scoured basts, some sales having
been closed recently at 85e to
67c. Greasy (all Texas wools
were being quoted mostly at 60c
scoured basis and slightly above,

however, and profit realising re
duced extreme advances in tne
closing hour.
Trading forces, on the whole,
moved carefully In view of the
opening ot congress Monday ana
